Invasive Species – Biodiversity Ireland

Online talk by John Kelly, Invasive Species Programme Manager at the National Biodiversity Data Centre. This talk will provide an introduction to identifying some of the marine invasive species present in Irish waters. We will also touch on ways divers can help prevent the introduction and spread of invasive species by practicing good biosecurity. This talk is aimed at those who are new to identifying marine invasive species. The session will consist of a presentation followed by a Q&A.
